F&B Solution: Track the progress of development to localise F&B solution within European countries track the correction deployed after the hotel's feedback, communicate progress to regions EU management.

Hotel solution: The team have a bi-weekly call to address and track issues/demands for the main software used in hospitality (PMS = Property Management System), communicate with the region on the status updates, share the plan with EU management.

Innovation: coordinate the POC (proof of concept) for innovative projects, write the documentation, follow-up with hotels and project owner, and communicate around these initiatives.

Operational Process Architect

Operational Process Architect - VDI

One of the largest global consultancies requires your skill-set as an operational process architect focusing around VDI. The consultancy is a global leader in cutting-edge transformation and project deployment.

The mission for this specific role is to support the consultancies client in reviewing existing processes and assist in designing future state operational processes to ensure that the realization of the strategic VDI solution can be a success. You will be working with; architects and engineers while acting as the overall lead for all process design elements of the solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with Architects and Engineers, act as the overall lead for all process design elements of the strategic solution
  • Analyse current processes and determine gaps, issues and improvements
  • Assess potential process enhancements as a result of the proposed VDI solution and incorporate into a future state design
  • Develop the end to end Process Architecture for the future state environment
  • Map and support transition and integration planning between existing and future state processes
  • Work with existing Service owners across Service Management, Engineering and Operations to ensure alignment and smooth adoption

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Comparable existing experience in a Global Organisation, specifically defining Operational Processes for VDI environments
  • Extensive experience (5 years ) of the process analysis and design i.e. hardware and software asset management, capacity management, configuration management, incident and service management, release management, KPI development and service reporting, financial control etc.
  • Attention to detail, strong process analytical capabilities a must.
  • Able to troubleshoot and escalate effectively
  • Very strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).

CCIE Network Engineer - Contract

We are working with a Consultancy looking for a CCIE Network Engineer, specialising in IT Infrastructure Transformation Projects, to support our client, a multi-national company within the Insurance industry.

Position

  • Supporting a multi-million pound investment in a range of infrastructure consolidation, upgrade and improvement transformation activities.
  • The successful candidate will have substantial experience as a Senior Network Engineer, with extensive experience of network monitoring platforms and tools
  • The focus of your role will be to work as a Cisco Network Engineer driving the delivery of these new and enhanced services into the production environment
  • A large part of the role will include ensuring smooth integration with the broader IT environment therefore an appreciation of the technical and end user implications of the transformational activities as they relate to infrastructure and core services is required i.e. End User, Network, Directory Services, Security etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with technical leads, team managers, service owners, solution owners, IRM and other engineering SMEs to determine product and solution selection while addressing specific business and application needs
  • Design and deploy Data Center Networks utilizing industry best practices and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure and Nexus 9k platforms
  • Provide product ownership for the network service, and ensuring continual improvement of that service

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a first line security event analyst monitoring the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) System.
  • Provide first line telephone, e-mail and ticket routing services for security event notifications and incident response processes.
  • Deliver first level investigation and remediation activities as a member of the Security Incident Response Team. Participate in Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) events: Conduct research and assessments of security events; provide analysis of firewall, IDS, anti-virus and other network sensor produced events; present findings as input to SIRT.
  • Participate in a Compliance/Vulnerability Assessment (VA) Scanning Capability. Follow a documented process for routine scanning of the infrastructure and network elements.
  • Monitor threat and vulnerability news services for any relevant information that may impact installed infrastructure.
  • Create and update security event investigation notes, conduct shift change reports on open cases, and maintain case data in the Incident Response Management platform.

As a member of the Information Security - Security Operations team you will maintain the confidentiality, availability and integrity of our information and information systems. This will primarily be achieved through identification and mitigation of risk through security systems management and incident management.
