Digital Threat Analyst (Self-harm and Suicide content)


Are you currently working in an investigative capacity? Are you keen to put your inquisitive nature to use in a non-technical role? Blackthorn Trace are working with a global Social Media consultancy that aim to protect young people and Brands from harmful content online. Our client is looking for motivated, forward-thinking individuals, with a passion for social media and all that encompasses it.

As a Digital Threat Analyst specialising in the Self-harm team you will ideally have previous professional experience of searching the Dark Web. You will be able to identify potential threats and trends within user generated content in an effort to protect young people from toxic and illegal content online. This kind of content can be harmful to consumers, particularly the vulnerable. It would be down to you to spot these threats on social media platforms before it gets into the hands of the consumer.

Due to the nature of this role, and the content that you will be exposed to the client offers full welfare support to all of their employees.
