Our client is an innovative tech giant who has adopted a cloud-first approach to their legacy infrastructure and IT Services. This FTSE 250 listed company has a longstanding tradition in the industry coupled with an impeccable reputation and market leading tech solutions.

Their goal is to have their entire legacy infrastructure off-prem by 2021, so as the Cloud Infrastructure and Operations Manager you will need to head up a team of 20 , which is spread across 5 global locations, where their Data-centres are located.

As the Cloud Manager, you will promote an Agile/DevOps focused environment; you will need to drive efficiency in order to successfully automate the application delivery.

In your day to day you will;

  • Create and execute road-maps
  • Lead the change initiative for the whole IT Ops team through the legacy transformation project
  • Ensure business units and support teams are on the right technical path
  • Work with Enterprise Architects to ensure the designs and cloud applications are of the highest standard
  • Manage the provisioning of the Cloud and Co-Lo Datacentre Services and devise effective Disaster Recovery plans which will include regular testing
  • Ensure a DevOps & Automation environment is adhered to facilitate an effective and efficient cloud environment
  • Be responsible for all IT aps, such as Citrix, MS Ex, VMware, Net backup, Netapp st, Linux etc.
  • Have ownership and responsibility of a multimillion dollar budget

Required experience;

  • Technical Leadership, including in a PM capacity
  • Managed IT Ops within a Cloud Environment
  • Led/Mentored Windows and Unix/Linux SysAdmins
  • Led the support and strategy of an infrastructure environment
  • Used alerting tools to monitor security platforms
  • Worked within a multi-data-centre environment, working on a global transformation programme
  • Used security frameworks (SSAE16/SOC I Type II and ISO)
  • Good understanding of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, along with a co-lo cloud business model

Project Manager - Hospitality - IT

F&B Solution: Track the progress of development to localise F&B solution within European countries track the correction deployed after the hotel's feedback, communicate progress to regions EU management.

Hotel solution: The team have a bi-weekly call to address and track issues/demands for the main software used in hospitality (PMS = Property Management System), communicate with the region on the status updates, share the plan with EU management.

Innovation: coordinate the POC (proof of concept) for innovative projects, write the documentation, follow-up with hotels and project owner, and communicate around these initiatives.
