A global provider of cloud-based enterprise software provider, have a fantastic opportunity Technical Consultant to sit within their Professional Services function. The main focus with this role is to support the POC during the pre-sale, understand and analyse customer requirements, onboard new clients, and translate these into a solution for the customer to understand.

You'll need to communicate the solution to customers, manage the consultancy engagement with customers and perform training. You'll be able to manage multiple customers and consultancy engagements, keeping the highest level of standards at all times.
As the Technical Consultant, you must be able to demonstrate a highly proactive attitude and good communication skills setting customer expectations to ensure successful project completion.


Your Essential skills

  • Ability to interact and develop relationships at multiple levels both internally and externally
  • Solid software troubleshooting /analytic skills
  • Understanding with the Legal Industry is a strong plus
  • Able to work accurately under pressure as part of a globally distributed team
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Proven infrastructure experience
  • Experience in preparing formal customer proposals
  • Prior experience with writing clearly to communicate software features to a non-technical audience
  • Business analysis skills

Technical Skills

  • Experience of working with network firewalls and proxy server
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016
  • Microsoft Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy and DNS
  • Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting
  • Good working knowledge of various operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android & iOS)
  • Experience with Application Programming Interface (API)
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity with Javascript and jQuery
  • Strong SaaS software troubleshooting/analytic skills
  • Good understanding Internet Explorer and Chrome
  • Strong knowledge/experience with web applications
  • General familiarity with web technologies and trends

Senior Cloud Security Specialist

The Role

  • To be a cloud security champion and to work with team and all others involved in the projects.

  • To act as a security SME specifically focused on cloud security, automation, and monitoring technologies (Cloud Discovery, Cloud Hosting Security Monitoring, CASB, DLP, Cloud Based SIEM and data analytics, DDOS)
  • To be able to support the Cyber Security Engineering and Incident response teams to enhance current detection capabilities
  • Develop and expand API framework to interconnect Security Tools

What we are looking for in you

  • You will know your stakeholders and understand their needs to provide an excellent service.
  • CISSP or equivalent industry certification to demonstrate security awareness
  • A very high level and demonstrable Cloud Security experience
  • Familiarity with SSO design and setup
  • Demonstrable experience of administration of Cloud Security Tools
  • Exposure to AWS or Azure. Experience of on boarding applications to Cloud security tools.
  • Significant experience in the majority of these areas:
  • Distributed systems/cloud computing security
  • Data Loss Prevention
  • Protocols and network security
  • Cryptography
  • Data and application security
  • User and data privacy
  • Security assurance
  • Scripting / programming and working with API's
